Privacy Policy

ShowPro (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app may collect and how it is used.

1. Information You Provide

ShowPro stores the information you choose to enter, such as animal profiles (including species, names, and optional photos), weights, feeding plans, daily tasks, timers, and notes. If you enable Family Sync, you may also create shared items (for example, shared tasks/schedules) that you invite others to access.

2. Account Information

If you create a ShowPro account, we store the account information needed to operate login, password reset, leader and student group participation, and account security features. This may include your email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and related account records stored through our authentication and cloud providers.

3. Photos, Videos, and AI Analysis

If you use ShowPro's optional AI features, you may select and upload photos and short videos for analysis.

What is sent: The photos and videos you select, along with related analysis details you provide for generating results.

How it is processed: The app securely transmits this data through our servers to our AI processing provider (OpenAI) to generate analysis results.

How it is used: Photos and videos are used only to generate your AI analysis results. We do not sell your photos or videos and we do not use them for advertising or marketing.

Important: AI output may be inaccurate. AI analysis is informational feedback only and is not veterinary, medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

4. What We Store

On your device (local storage):

Your animals, weights, feeding plans, tasks, and notes are stored locally on your device.
If you choose to save AI results, the app stores your AI analysis history locally, including the analysis text and the photos or videos used for that analysis.

In Apple iCloud / CloudKit (only if you enable Family Sync):

Shared Family Sync data (for example, shared tasks/schedules) is stored and synced using Apple’s iCloud / CloudKit services.
This shared data is available to you and the people you invite/accept into the share.

On our servers:

We do not use your photos or videos for advertising.
We do not sell your photos, videos, or personal information.
We transmit photos or videos only as needed to generate your AI results.

5. Leader and Student Group Features

If you use ShowPro’s leader or student group features, ShowPro stores the information needed to keep groups in sync across devices using Supabase cloud infrastructure.

Stored group collaboration data may include display names, group membership, join codes, group messages, calendar events, and student-submitted animal reports.
Student-submitted animal reports may include selected animal details such as species, weight, feed plan information, notes, and related training or AI summaries that the user chooses to submit.
Group leaders can view submitted reports and group collaboration data for their own groups.
Group participants are expected to use respectful and appropriate language. Group features are intended for supervised educational use such as 4-H, FFA, and livestock programs.
Users under 13 should use group features only with parent, guardian, or educator supervision.

6. Purchases (Subscriptions / In-App Purchases)

Purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or store your full payment details. Apple may provide us limited purchase/entitlement information needed to unlock features (for example, whether you have an active subscription, or whether access is available via Apple Family Sharing).

7. Analytics and Diagnostics

We may use basic diagnostics and platform logs to help keep the app running and to troubleshoot issues. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information for analytics purposes.

8. Sharing

You can choose to share information (for example, exporting or sharing an analysis). If you share, it is your choice and you control where it goes.

9. Children

ShowPro is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the app and service endpoints. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Your Choices

You can stop using AI features at any time.
You can delete animals or entries inside the app.
You can delete your account directly from the app's Settings screen. Deleting your account removes your account data and associated cloud records from our servers.
You can delete the app to remove locally stored data from your device.
